Human Rights Day 2023 – worldwide commission to celebrate human Rights

Human Rights Day 2023

International Human Rights Day is celebrated all over the world including India on 10 December. This day is being celebrated across the country. Many programs are being organized to make people aware about human rights.

Today, the world is celebrating Human Rights Day, which does not listen to the cries of human beings for fundamental rights. In one corner of the world, pledges and declarations for the protection of human rights are being made, while in another place, the sound of bombs and the cries of babies can be heard.

Although the United Nations, which was formed to eliminate wars and human rights abuses, has limited itself to being a committee to account for these, the world has followed its call to observe Human Rights Day once a year! The truth is that the modern world does not deserve to utter a word about human rights and humanity.

Only a humanistic society can recognize and facilitate the rights of fellow creatures. When social responsibility is based on God’s thought and faith, man will feel that it is his responsibility to fulfill and fulfill the rights of fellow creatures. It is also the root cause of human rights violations and war atrocities in the world.

The 75th anniversary of Human Rights Day falls on December 10th, 2023, marking a momentous occasion to celebrate the progress made in human rights and reaffirm our commitment to these fundamental principles. the day on which the United Nations General Assembly adopted, in 1948, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. We need to stand up for our own rights and those of others. We can take action in our own daily lives, to uphold the rights that protect us all and thereby promote the kinship of all human beings.

The United Nations mentioned: “10 December 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of one of the world’s most groundbreaking global pledges: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). This landmark document enshrines the inalienable rights that everyone is entitled to as a human being – regardless of race, colour, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status.”

Audrey Azoulay (Director-General of UNESCO)– “Celebrating Human Rights Day reminds us that human rights cannot be taken for granted and that their safeguarding requires commitment on a daily basis. This is the motivation for the work we do and it is the raison to be of both the United Nations and UNESCO”
